Job Description

 

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with strong hands-on experience in electronic hardware design, schematic capture, and PCB layout for an onsite opportunity in Addison, TX.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronic circuits.
  • Perform schematic capture and multi-layer PCB layout.
  • Develop hardware while considering signal integrity, EMI/EMC, thermal, reliability, and DFM requirements.
  • Support prototype builds, board bring-up, debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Perform hardware verification, validation, and qualification testing.
  • Prepare engineering documentation, test procedures, qualification plans/reports, product drawings, and engineering change documentation.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, test, suppliers, and contract manufacturers.
  • Support products throughout the complete hardware development lifecycle.

 

Mandatory Skills

  • Bachelor''s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in electronic hardware design and development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Schematic Capture and PCB Layout.
  • Experience with Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro/OrCAD, or Mentor Graphics.
  • Experience designing multi-layer PCBs.
  • Strong knowledge of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design.
  • Hands-on experience with Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, DMMs, and Power Supplies.
  • Knowledge of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Experience with hardware verification, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.

 

Preferred

  • Experience with EMI/EMC and environmental/qualification testing.
  • Aerospace, defense, automotive, medical device, or industrial electronics experience.
  • Knowledge of DO-160.
  • Experience with FPGA-based or embedded hardware.
  • Knowledge of DFM and reliability analysis.
  • Experience with DOORS, PLM, or configuration management systems.
