Registered Nurse | Stroke Unit | Neustadt in Holstein, Germany | On-site We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join a leading medical facility specializing in acute and rehabilitation care, renowned for its comprehensive neurological services and strategic location on the Baltic Sea. This is an opportunity to contribute to a hospital that is a central pillar of medical care in its region and an academic teaching hospital. The Role • Provide specialized acute care and continuous monitoring for stroke patients on the Stroke Unit, including post-lytic therapy and thrombectomy care. • Master the assessment of neurological status using specific scores like the NIHSS. • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized, specialized neurological, and therapeutic nursing care plans, including early mobilization. • Ensure quality nursing processes through independent execution of standards, assessments, and scales. • Collaborate closely within an interdisciplinary team of physicians, therapists, and case management. • Engage in continuous professional development through regular training and Stroke Nurse specialization. What You'll Need • Completed training as a Registered Nurse or equivalent qualification. • Preferably experience in caring for neurological patients. • Willingness to participate in a stroke-specific advanced training program (Stroke Nurse). • Independent and responsible work ethic with strong planning and organizational skills. • Proficiency in standard applications like MS Office; experience with hospital information systems is a plus. • Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
