We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our Assembly team. This role will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, and packaging products on an assembly line or independently in a manufacturing facility. The Assembler works with a team to ensure the efficient and accurate assembly of products while adhering to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is consistent, a team player, a great communicator, and can meet deadlines and prioritize multiple projects.Responsibilities:
  • Assemble components and parts following detailed instructions
  • Read and understand the bill of materials and work order instructions, blueprints, or technical drawings
  • Complete assembly tasks using various hand, pneumatic, and power tools, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, and presses (may use cranes and hoists); may also include specialized work such as tube bending and soldering
  • Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
  • Test and troubleshoot assemblies
  • Monitor and request materials and components as needed for assembly
  • Follow all safety guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or General Equivalent Diploma (GED)
  • 2+ years of experience in mechanical, assembly, or other fast-paced operations
Core Competencies:
  • Ability to communicate effectively via verbal and written methods
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to perform varied and complex tasks
Preferences:
  • Ability to lift a maximum of 35 lbs individually and 70 lbs for a team lift
  • Experience using various hand, pneumatic, and power tools, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, and presses
  • General computer knowledge (e.g., log-on credentials/SSO, JD Edwards, and Microsoft Outlook)
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
  • This position will be based at our site in Ivyland, PA, with no anticipated travel.
