Power Apps Developer / Power Platform Lead - Contract - Brisbane

Urgent requirement of Power Apps Developer/ Power Platform Lead - Contract - Brisbane.

Requirements

Must Have:

  • Extensive experience in Office 365 development utilizing PowerApps, Flows, Teams and SharePoint Online.
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online modern UI, permissions, out-of-the-box web parts and features, user profile services, site templates, Hub sites, administration portal, etc.
  • Experience creating standalone, highly customised Canvas Apps with fully configurable user interfaces and layouts.
  • Ability to think, architect and design the UX of the app while simplifying source system features by replicating functionalities using SharePoint OOB, Power Platform and Azure services.
  • Ability to create business processes and custom connectors with Microsoft Flow.
  • A clear understanding of PowerApps formulas, licensing, and development methods.
  • Experience in migration of SharePoint applications using ShareGate.
  • Preferred Certifications: PL-900 and PL-400 - Microsoft Power Platform Developer
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technologies and concepts to multiple audiences.

Good to Have:

  • Experience in SharePoint Framework extension (SPFx) using React JS.
  • Experience in SharePoint on-prem, SharePoint Designer and customised web parts, SharePoint master page and layout.
  • Ticketing tool knowledge in Cherwell or ServiceNow.
  • Proficient in creating PowerShell scripts using CSOM, PnP PowerShell and other modules.

Responsibility:

  • Work directly with the client to support various projects and solutions.
  • Develop PowerApps and PowerAutomate-based apps.
  • Develop Azure Logic Apps.
  • Provide architecture, configuration, administration, and functional support to expand capabilities in Microsoft 365.
  • Design end-to-end solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing.
  • Identify areas and processes where Microsoft 365, Office 365, and SharePoint can be better leveraged and facilitate process improvement.
  • Participate in end-to-end project activities including assessment, requirements gathering, planning, development, testing, UAT, Go-Live, post-live support, and enhancements checks.
  • Provide consultation on various business requirements considering the latest tools and technology, performance checks and test coverage.
  • Provide effort estimation considering cost and timeline for the project, including number of resources, software costs, phase-wise project plan, and assumptions.
  • Write and maintain artefacts like technical and functional design documents, test cases and deployment guidelines.
  • Work on new enhancements, liaise with business users, understand requirements, and deliver the solution while coordinating with other team members.

Duration: 6 Months and potential extension
