Minimum 3 recent, consecutive years of GA experience as a certificated A&P; Piper aircraft experience preferred; G1000 experience a plus

Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license required at hire; must obtain Inspection Authorization within 3 months of hire; High school or equivalent preferredrResponsible for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of flight school aircraft, per AeroGuard company procedures and applicable regulatory requirements. Duties: reading/understanding technical data (maintenance manuals, parts catalogs, engineering drawings, service bulletins, airworthiness directives); knowledge of 14 CFR Parts 43 and 91; troubleshoot/repair/inspect/maintain aircraft per FAA regulations; make aircraft logbook entries and release aircraft for return to service; familiar with Microsoft Office, able to learn Talon RMS maintenance program; flexible shift work (10-hour, day/night); some medium lifting up to 50 lbs; extensive outdoor/aircraft/equipment exposure, including solvents and aviation gasoline.
