DTOC Project Manager - Contract - Buena Vista, FL - $50.00 - $63.00/hr

Our client is seeking a DTOC Project Manager in Buena Vista, FL

Role Description

Serve as the key point of contact for DTOC Incident Management stakeholders to intake, align to scope, prioritize, and schedule initiatives and requests. Lead the DTOC transition project end-to-end, including gathering requirements, defining scope, identifying impacted teams, sizing impacts, and coordinating resource scheduling with management teams. Manage several smaller, concurrent DTOC initiatives alongside the primary transition project, adjusting priorities as needs evolve.

Implement and manage ITIL-centric initiatives, specifically focusing on optimizing Incident, Problem, and Change Management workflows to ensure service reliability. Ensure clear reporting of project status, including timelines, milestone tracking, and risks, to executives, stakeholders, and management teams. Prioritize and escalate critical project tasks, execute project work plans, and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs. Coordinate on-call schedules, escalation paths, and major incident response processes in partnership with Incident Management leadership.

Facilitate or support Major Incident Reviews / Post-Incident Reviews (PIRs), ensuring root cause, action items, and follow-through are tracked to closure. Apply analytical and critical thinking to identify team, process, or tool inefficiencies and risk areas; recommend solutions and implement remediations. Ensure project documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately, and support a smooth hand-off of open items at the conclusion of the engagement.

Skills & Requirements

5-7 years of experience in Technical Project/Program Management, utilizing waterfall and agile methodologies. Strong ITIL / IT service operations experience, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes. Proven ability to work independently and self-sufficiently with limited day-to-day oversight, ramping up quickly on existing programs and stakeholder relationships. Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple projects and initiatives, across a range of internal teams and vendors. Strong organizational and prioritization skills with excellent attention to detail.

Excellent meeting facilitation skills and effective team player. Experience with Jira and Jira Service Management, ServiceNow, or comparable ITSM/project tracking tools. Ability to develop and deliver executive-level presentations and status reports using PowerPoint or Keynote. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Comfort operating at the process and coordination level; limited need for deep technical/engineering expertise. Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or a related technical discipline; or equivalent experience.

Previous experience in Technology Operations, Incident Management, and/or Media environment. Experience supporting international or multi-region program transitions (e.g., site-to-site operational hand-offs). Proficiency with ServiceNow or a comparable ITSM platform. Proficiency with PowerBI or other analytics/dashboard tools. PMP, ITIL Foundation, or Certified Scrum Master certification a plus.
