Role: Core Java Developer Location: New York (Hybrid, 2-3 days onsite in a week) Duration: Fulltime

Job Description:
The team supports some of the time critical and revenue generating applications for investment banking business which is rapidly renovated and expanded while still being nimble & agile to cater various business needs. The ideal candidate will have to work closely with Product Owner, Development & QA engineers to deliver timely and quality deliveries. The candidate should be adaptive to a continuous changing and fast paced environment, be able to successfully multi-task, and thrive in a dynamic, fully engaged developer role.

Skills Desired:
Experience of agile and scrum methodologies
Hands-on developer with strong database skills
Core Java developer experience
Integration technologies - MQ / Xml / SOAP / JSON
Proficiency in Database Management Systems (SQL Server / Mongo) and designing / querying
Experience in unit testing, integration testing
CI / CD - Gradle/Maven, Jenkins, GIT
Sound understanding of Enterprise Architecture Patterns, Object Oriented Analysis, Design and Programming
Exposure to working in a global delivery team
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
(Optional) Prior experience in investment banking.
