MRO Parts Specialist

  • Onsite/Remote: Onsite
  • Location: Hopkins, South Carolina
  • Visa: No. We need a . Indian citizen will not work.
  • FTE/Contract: Full Time
  • Top 3 Required Skills: MRO and Product storerooms Experience, Create engineering work orders, SAP Experience (Create and edit Material Masters, and Create and post deliveries for outbound shipment) 

Update from Client- The customer is specifically looking for graduates with no more than 3 years of experience. The rationale behind this requirement is that the role is primarily execution-focused, follows well-defined processes, and does not require leadership or managerial responsibilities. They are seeking someone who can perform the assigned tasks efficiently and remain in the role for an extended period.

 Ideal candidate :candidates who have completed their graduation within the last three years and have a couple of years of experience in an MRO-related role

Client is looking to add a MRO Parts Specialist with our customer''s team in Hopkins, SC. This position will support the Warehouse Manager in the day-to-day operations, determine the quantity and order date for materials needed to meet the master production schedule.

In this position, an MRO Parts Specialist can expect to be responsible for the following:

  • Support the Warehouse Manager in day to day operations in the MRO and Product storerooms.
  • Build strong, value-adding relationships with the supply chain buyers and plant cross-functional departments.
  • Serve as the primary contact with the supply chain buyers for part procurement issues.
  • Effectively interact with engineering when obsolescence parts are identified.
  • Create engineering work orders to track obsolescence parts.
  • Develop and monitor obsolescence metrics.
  • Create and edit Material Masters in SAP
  • Create and post deliveries for outbound shipment in SAP.
  • Required to work on site.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Supply Management/Related Technical Field is desired
  • Minimum 2 years applicable related experience is desired
  • A basic understanding of nuclear industry practices and activities is desired
  • Functional experience with SAP or a similar system L2L, as well as with the Microsoft Office suite of programs; Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
