Senior Product Service Engineer

Position: Senior Product Service Engineer
Locations: Minneapolis / West Palm Beach(Onsite)
Duration: 6+ Months (Contract)

Must have

• Understand how the application works from a user perspective
• Talk to users and gather issue details
• Investigate support tickets and recurring problems
• Basic root cause analysis
• SQL queries to validate data and investigate issues
• Linux/Unix command line
• CloudWatch / Grafana monitoring tools
• AWS familiarity (S3, Lambda, Step Functions, CloudWatch)
• Ability to reproduce issues in a local/test environment
• Understanding of how bugs move through the SDLC process
• Independently handle the more complex issues
• Better customer-facing communication
• Better root cause analysis
• Better understanding of the overall application
• Identify recurring issues and product improvement opportunities
• Help prioritize defects/enhancements based on customer impact
• Likely mentor junior team members
• Act as the escalation point for difficult issues
