The Role • Act in a lead capacity, assisting the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in store operations. • Provide exemplary customer service, greeting customers and assisting them with locating merchandise. • Perform stocking duties, including unloading trucks, unpacking, stocking, rotating, and displaying merchandise. • Operate the cash register, process customer transactions, and handle cash and payments accurately. • Maintain store cleanliness, including dusting, mopping, cleaning restrooms, and managing trash and cardboard. • Assist with opening or closing the store under specific direction and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. What You'll Need • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and understand cash handling procedures. • Experience with cash register functions and knowledge of safety and security practices. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance. • High school diploma or equivalent. • Six months of supervisory or related experience preferred.
