Odoo Functional Consultant

• 5+ years of experience in Odoo
• Successful track record of Odoo implementations from both functional and technical perspectives
• Proven experience managing Odoo projects from start to finish
• Qualifications in Accounting Business / Management / IT or related fields
• Self-starter with initiative
• Experience with all Odoo Enterprise standard modules
• Experience with setup and management of Bitbucket and GitHub
• Experience setting up Continuous Integration and automated deployment
• Strong understanding of ecommerce, supply chain, logistics, and finance
• Knowledge of Project Management and Agile principles
• Involvement in Pre-Sales activities
• Skills in Requirement Gathering, Specification, and Design
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Ability to integrate fully customized business processes functionally
• Technical capability to direct development and implementation
• Technical support skills for client queries
• Skills in developing and enhancing the Odoo framework and core modules
• Ability to establish frameworks for adopting Odoo best practices
• Support and input provision to the sales team as needed
• Experience mentoring junior implementers and developers
• Experience setting up and maintaining Odoo infrastructure
• Setup and maintenance of customer Virtual Machines (VM)
• Good knowledge of Linux
• Experience with installation and management of PostgreSQL databases
• Installation and maintenance of Odoo software
• Management of custom code repositories in Bitbucket/GitHub and environment updates
• Ensuring optimal VM setup and maintenance
• Troubleshooting issues as they arise
• Familiarity with SSL certificates and setup
• Familiarity with Nginx
• Proficiency in Python
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Bootstrap
• Knowledge of software integration methods like REST API, Web Services, XML-RPC
• Familiarity with source code repositories such as GIT and Bazaar
• Strong knowledge of open-source development
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
