Dual Chief Engineer

Marriott is hiring a Dual Chief Engineer to lead engineering and maintenance operations across two hotel properties. This role oversees all building systems, preventive maintenance, life safety, and capital projects to ensure safe, efficient, and guest-ready facilities. You will manage engineering teams, coordinate vendors, control budgets, and drive energy efficiency while meeting brand standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborating closely with hotel leadership, you'll support seamless operations, quick issue resolution, and an outstanding guest experience in line with Marriott's people-first culture and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering and maintenance operations for two Marriott hotel properties
• Manage, schedule, and develop engineering and maintenance staff
• Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs for all building systems
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and regulatory standards
• Plan and manage capital expenditure and maintenance budgets
• Coordinate vendor and contractor work for projects and repairs
• Monitor and optimize energy use and building system efficiency
• Respond to and resolve engineering-related guest and operational issues promptly
• Maintain life safety, fire protection, and emergency systems in readiness
• Partner with hotel leadership to support excellent guest experience and brand standards
