Job Title: z/OS Administrator / System Programmer

Introduction:

We are seeking a skilled z/OS Administrator / System Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IBM z/OS Administration and System Programming, along with proficiency in key technologies such as z/OS, SMP/E, JES2/JES3, RACF, REXX, and TSO/ISPF. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of z/OS environments, performing system maintenance, and providing support for enterprise systems.

Responsibilities:

• Install, upgrade, and maintain IBM/ISV software
• Perform SMP/E maintenance
• Support enterprise z/OS environments
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide 24x7 support

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of IBM z/OS Administration/System Programming experience
• Proficiency in z/OS, z/OSMF, SMP/E, JES2/JES3
• Experience with RACF, REXX, TSO/ISPF
• Knowledge of Sysplex, CFRM, USS
• Familiarity with PARMLIB, IOCP/HCD
• Experience with VTAM, TCP/IP, FTP
• Ability to handle ISV product installation and support
• Experience in production support and troubleshooting
