Information System Security Officer (ISSO) with Security Clearance

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) - Cybersecurity Compliance to support a company focused on Special Operations Mission Planning and Execution (SOMPE) within the Department of Defense. This position is on-site in Tampa, FL. The ISSO will serve as a key cybersecurity compliance and risk management resource, ensuring systems meet strict DoD security standards while supporting mission-critical operations. Responsibilities for the ISSO - Cybersecurity Compliance include: * Maintain and enforce Information Security policies, standards, and guidelines across assigned systems and programs * Conduct vulnerability scans using ACAS and assess findings to ensure compliance with DoD and organizational requirements * Manage and update POA&Ms, tracking remediation progress and ensuring accurate reporting of system security posture * Prepare audit reports with technical and procedural findings and provide actionable remediation strategies * Support RMF processes by developing and reviewing SSPs, Risk Assessment Reports, and ATO/C&A documentation Required Qualifications for the ISSO - Cybersecurity Compliance include: * 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, or compliance within a DoD environment * Hands-on experience with ACAS, eMASS, and RMF processes (ATO lifecycle support) * Strong understanding of vulnerability management, policy enforcement, and risk assessment methodologies * Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience) * Active TS/SCI clearance required Compensation for the ISSO - Cybersecurity Compliance include: Salary Range: Depending on experience Full Benefits Package: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Sick leave as required by law #LI-JB1 Keywords: ISSO, Cybersecurity, RMF, ATO, eMASS, ACAS, POA&M, Vulnerability Scanning, DoD Compliance, Information Assurance, Risk Management Framework, TS/SCI, Tampa Cyber Jobs, Security Controls, Audit Reports, Special Operations Cybersecurity
