Lead Solution Architect - Supply Chain Discovery

Global Technology Solutions (GTS) at ResMed is a division that designs and deploys secure, scalable platform solutions to support patients, providers and partners worldwide. GTS focuses on aligning technology with strategic business goals, fostering shared ownership, and establishing global standards for efficient and consistent processes.

The Lead Solution Architect will work within an Agile technology team as part of the Discovery phase of the Ignite program. The role requires close collaboration with business analysts, product owners, platform teams and external consultants to define the future state architecture, capabilities and design principles that will guide subsequent delivery phases.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage own tasks and time while maintaining a solution oriented, customer centric mindset.
• Lead integration strategy using Oracle Integration Cloud, API first design and event driven architecture.
• Establish supply chain observability and visibility standards, including dashboards, automated alerts and continuity plans, and integrate third party transportation monitoring.
• Ensure security and compliance for all integrations and SaaS platforms (RBAC, encryption, audit, CSV validation).
• Design Global Trade Management solutions that support compliance with international trade regulations, customs processes and cross border logistics.
• Collaborate with Domain Solution Architects, business analysts and stakeholders to identify requirements, define scope and design software solutions.
• Work with MES developers (.NET) to understand and integrate custom developed architecture at ResMed.
• Maintain regular communication with other technology teams across ResMed to standardise tech stack and extensions.
• Stay current with industry developments and design innovative applications for the Supply Chain domain.
• Actively participate in architecture reviews to ensure adherence to enterprise design principles and report to the Enterprise Architecture team.
• Define KPIs and track reports that measure logistics performance (e.g., On Time Delivery Rate, Order Cycle Time, Inventory Accuracy, Transportation Cost per Unit, Customs Clearance Time, Supply Chain Security Incidents, Carbon Footprint per Shipment).
• Apply AI in logistics-predictive analytics, AI driven workflows for customs clearance, anomaly detection for security and AI powered dashboards for real time insights.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a custom development environment.
• Minimum 5 years as a solution architect or technical architect.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and ways of working.
• Experience working with customers and product owners in solution enhancement and analysis.
• Proficient with React, NodeJS, and .NET; experience with AWS and database technologies.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and management skills.
• Proven experience in solution architecture within logistics or supply chain domains.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, cloud platforms (AWS preferred), and API or EDI management.
• Familiarity with logistics systems (WMS, TMS) and ERP integration.
• Ability to lead architecture reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Preferred: Experience with AWS, Oracle ERP/Oracle EBS, Docker, ECS, EKS, TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification.
