Senior Network Architect – Data Center & Network Infrastructure

We are seeking a Senior Network Architect to lead the design, architecture, and evolution of large-scale data center, backbone, and cloud networking infrastructure. This role is focused on building highly scalable, resilient, and automated network platforms supporting mission-critical production environments.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience designing and operating large-scale data center networks, routing and switching infrastructure, EVPN/VXLAN fabrics, and backbone networks within hyperscale cloud providers, large enterprises, ISPs, or SaaS environments.

Please note - Prior AI or GPU networking experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect large-scale data center and backbone network infrastructure.
• Lead the design and deployment of modern spine-leaf architectures using EVPN/VXLAN.
• Design highly available routing and switching infrastructure supporting mission-critical production environments.
• Drive network scalability, resiliency, automation, and operational excellence across global infrastructure.
• Develop network automation using Python, Ansible, Terraform/OpenTofu, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Define network architecture standards, operational processes, observability, and reliability best practices.
• Collaborate with cloud, platform, systems, and security engineering teams.
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance optimization for large-scale production networks.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across infrastructure initiatives.

Experience designing and operating highly available production networks at scale.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in hyperscale cloud, SaaS, ISP, CDN, or enterprise environments.
• Experience operating globally distributed data center networks.
• Experience with observability platforms such as Kentik, ThousandEyes, Grafana, Splunk, Nagios, or similar.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or hybrid cloud networking.
• Experience leading architecture reviews and cross-functional infrastructure programs.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to AI infrastructure or GPU networking.
• Knowledge of RoCE, RDMA, or HPC networking.
• Participation in networking communities such as NANOG or RIPE.
