- Manage subcontractors, site logistics, and work sequencing, ensuring delivery aligns with programme and safety requirements.
- Ensure full compliance with H&S, CDM, environmental, and quality standards, including reviewing RAMS, permits, and safety documentation.
- Oversee the installation of electrical systems, ensuring correct implementation of designs, technical specifications, and installation practices.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, designers, and client representatives, providing clear updates, technical input, and solution‑focused site leadership.
- Monitor site progress, report against plan, and escalate risks, issues, and blockers to maintain programme performance.
- Resolve on‑site issues proactively, ensuring safe and efficient decision‑making aligned with client governance.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in construction management, electrical engineering, civil engineering, or related discipline (preferred).
- SMSTS / CSCS / relevant SHE qualifications (advantageous).
- Strong understanding of construction H&S regulations, CDM, and quality processes.
- Proficient with reporting tools and collaboration platforms, including: Field management or site reporting apps (e.g., SiteCapture, FieldView – if applicable)
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, method statements, technical documents, and installation specifications.
- Proven experience in construction management within infrastructure, utilities, or electrical engineering environments.
- Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure installation (HV/LV, substations, OHL, UGC).
- Experience working under NEC contract environments (advantages but not essential).
- Confident managing multi‑disciplinary site teams and coordinating complex construction activities.
- Eligible to obtain BPSS security clearance.
