Job requirements

We are looking for an experienced Amazon Connect Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of cloud-based contact centre solutions using Amazon Connect and AWS services.

This role requires strong technical expertise in IVR architecture, customer experience solutions, and the ability to lead teams and client engagements in large-scale transformation projects.

 

Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership

 Lead the design and implementation of Amazon Connect solutions for voice and chat channels

 Define architecture for scalable, secure, and high-performance contact centre platforms

 Drive IVR design, call routing strategies, and omnichannel customer experience solutions • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams Development & Integration • Oversee development of contact flows, routing profiles, and integrations

 Lead backend development using AWS Lambda (Node.js, Python, or Java)

Ensure seamless integration with AWS services such as DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, API Gateway, SNS, and SQS

 Drive integration with enterprise applications (CRM systems like Salesforce, ServiceNow, etc.) Solution Design & Delivery

 Work with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Lead end-to-end delivery of Amazon Connect implementations and migrations

Define best practices, coding standards, and solution frameworks

Support migration initiatives from legacy platforms such as Avaya or Genesys to Amazon Connect Operations & Governance

Ensure system performance, reliability, and scalability through monitoring and optimization

Drive incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement

Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory standards Stakeholder Management

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

7–12 years of experience in software development or cloud-based solutions

4+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Connect

 Strong expertise in designing IVR/contact centre solutions and call routing

Proficiency in AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, IAM)

Experience in backend development using Node.js, Python, or Java

Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture

Experience integrating with enterprise systems and external APIs

Proven experience in leading development teams and delivering large-scale projects
