About our client

We are partnered with an emerging and capitalised deeptech fund backing ground breaking innovation across Europe. With a mix of impressive operational and investment expertise the team back bold science with momentum to scale.

The existing team consists of two Founding Partners and investors with a blend of multinational corporate, scale-up, and investment experience. Together, they have been deploying capital across sectors including, but not limited to, semiconductors, proteomics, energy, and plastic alternatives.

This is a phenomenal opportunity to join a new fund which offers the ability to help shape the strategy and culture as they expand, alongside sourcing and backing the best IP-rich technologies.

What the job involves
  • Take a leading role shaping the strategy to identify Europe's most impactful scientific breakthroughs with potential to turn into thriving companies
  • Create and secure investment opportunities from your own deep dives and support, challenge and evaluate those of other team members
  • Assist in future fundraising for subsequent funds
Who we are looking for
  • An experienced investment professional with a robust track record in venture capital, particularly in deeptech or science-driven domains
  • An entrepreneurial individual who is proactive and capable of independently managing responsibilities at the senior level
  • Someone with a fondness for the scale-up phase of tech companies, and an eagerness and skills to assist scientific founders in building thriving companies
  • Ideally based in the Netherlands or one of Europe's other main innovation hubs
  • The flexibility to spend meaningful time in the Netherlands
