  • Gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into functional and technical specifications, and develop data-driven solutions to support business decision-making.
  • Perform advanced SQL queries to extract, transform, validate, and analyze large datasets across enterprise data platforms.
  • Work closely with Data Engineers to define data requirements, validate data pipelines, and ensure accurate and timely availability of data for reporting and analytics.
  • Analyze data stored in AWS S3 and Amazon Redshift to identify trends, anomalies, business insights, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Amazon QuickSight to provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.
  • Design data visualizations, KPIs, metrics, and executive-level dashboards based on business requirements and reporting needs.
  • Write complex SQL queries involving joins, subqueries, CTEs, aggregations, window functions, and data transformations to support analytical and reporting requirements.
  • Partner with business users, product owners, data engineers, and technical teams to understand data sources, business rules, and reporting requirements.
  • Perform data profiling, reconciliation, validation, and quality checks across Amazon Redshift and AWS S3 data environments.
  • Analyze discrepancies between source systems and reporting datasets, identify root causes, and coordinate with Data Engineering teams for resolution.
  • Translate business requirements into data mappings, source-to-target specifications, reporting requirements, and analytical models.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers on data ingestion, transformation, and integration requirements involving AWS S3 and Amazon Redshift.
  • Create ad-hoc analytical reports using Advanced SQL, Tableau, and Amazon QuickSight to answer complex business questions.
  • Define and document business rules, data definitions, KPIs, calculation logic, and reporting standards to ensure consistency across analytics solutions.
  • Conduct UAT for dashboards, reports, data pipelines, and analytical solutions, validating results against business requirements and expected outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and improve data accessibility, accuracy, and reporting efficiency.
  • Present analytical findings and dashboard insights to business stakeholders and senior leadership, translating complex data into clear business recommendations.
  • Work in Agile/Scrum environments, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.
  • Create user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data requirements, and functional documentation for analytics and reporting initiatives.
  • Monitor dashboard and reporting performance, troubleshoot data-related issues, and work with technical teams to resolve production defects.
  • Support the continuous enhancement of enterprise reporting and analytics capabilities across Tableau, Amazon QuickSight, AWS S3, and Amazon Redshift.
