SAP S4 HANA Project Manager

Position Summary

Lead end-to-end program management of Client's SAP ECC 6.0 to S/4HANA transformation, a mission-critical initiative impacting Finance, Revenue Accounting, Procurement, Supply Chain, and integrated business processes across global operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Own program plan, timeline and delivery across all workstreams (Finance, RAR, MM, Integration, Data, Technical)
• Establish program governance: Steering Committee, Executive Sponsors, workstream leads, SI partner coordination
• Manage vendor/SI partner accountability and program risks, issues, dependencies across 15+ business units
• Align IT, Finance, Revenue, Procurement, Supply Chain stakeholders; drive change management and adoption
• Executive communication: Steering Committee, Board updates, CIO/CFO briefings
• Coordinate 50+ system integrations (Workday, Salesforce, Coupa, HighRadius, EPM, BW) and middleware modernization
• Manage dependencies with Master Data Governance, analytics migration, and infrastructure transition

Required Qualifications

Experience

• 10+ years program/project management in enterprise software implementations
• Minimum 2 full-lifecycle S/4HANA implementations as Program Manager (ECC → S/4 migrations preferred)
• Revenue-critical systems: implementations impacting revenue recognition, financial close, or SOX processes
• Complex integrations: 50+ system interfaces, middleware platforms, batch/real-time integration patterns

Technical Knowledge

• S/4HANA architecture, deployment models (on-prem, cloud, hybrid)
• SAP Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR), FI/CO, MM/Procurement
• Integration technologies (SAP PI/PO, CPI, APIs), data migration, master data governance
• Agile/Waterfall hybrid delivery for ERP transformations

Leadership Skills

• Influence without authority across IT, Finance, Business; executive presence with C-suite/Board
• Vendor/SI management: accountability while maintaining collaboration
• Risk mitigation, conflict resolution, consensus building in matrixed organizations

Certifications (Preferred)

• SAP S/4HANA certification, SAP Project Management certification, or PMP/PgMP
