Job Description
A client of ours in the Southend-on-sea area are recruiting a Trainee Account Manager to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 8.15am - 4.45pm and paying a negotiable salary depending on experience.
Key Duties include but are not limited to:
- Manage and develop the existing customer portfolio.
- Identify and develop new customers and prospects.
- Handle incoming inquiries (phone/email).
- Qualify customer needs, expectations, and profiles.
- Understand the decision-making chain and escalate when necessary.
- Promote and secure the specification of company products.
- Manage responses to tenders, projects, and quotations.
- Sell products and secure orders.
- Ensure commitments are met (delivery time, cost, quality).
- Build and maintain trusted customer relationships.
- Maintain the CRM system with customer details.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Trainee Account Manager position:
- Positive, enthusiastic and driven
- Great customer service skills
- Ability to solve problems
- Proficient in using Microsoft packages
- Experience in using a CRM system
- An interest within Sales or Account Management
