Austin Heating &amp; Cooling<br />Where skilled engineers are trusted, supported, and valued<br />We know experienced Commercial Gas Engineers have choices.<br />That’s why we focus on providing a supportive environment where your expertise is respected, your time is valued, and you’re trusted to do your job properly — without unnecessary micromanagement.<br />OTE £60 - £70k with overtime<br />Here, you’ll join a down‑to‑earth team, supported by approachable managers, with the flexibility and backing you need to deliver high‑quality work and continue developing your skills.<br />About the role:<br />As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of commercial gas systems across a range of sites. You’ll work independently most of the time, with the confidence that support is always available when you need it.<br />This role suits someone who takes pride in their work, values professionalism, and wants stability without stagnation.<br />Main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Servicing, maintaining, and repairing commercial gas appliances and systems
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs safely and efficiently
  • Installation of both domestic and commercial boiler and plant room systems.
  • Ensuring all work complies with relevant gas safety regulations and standards
  • Completing accurate job paperwork and reports
  • Communicating clearly with customers and internal teams
  • Representing the organisation professionally on site<br />What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer
  • Relevant commercial gas, LPG and Oil qualifications and certifications
  • A strong commitment to safety and quality
  • Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
  • A professional, customer‑focused approach
  • UK driving licence and be willing to travel<br />Mandatory qualifications:<br />Gas qualifications Domestic &amp; Commercial including; CCN1, CENWAT, CKHB1, etc. COCDN1, CIGA1, CORT1, CPA1, DAH1, ICPN1, HTR1, TPCP1 and CONGLP1PD LPG Changeover, and preferably plumbing qualifications City and Guilds Level 3, Unvented water regulations G3.<br />What You Can Expect from Us
