Job Description

Product Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly driven Product Manager to join a market-leading manufacturer and distributor of high-quality wiring, lighting, cable management, and electrical installation accessories. This role is ideal for someone with a strong manufacturing background, particularly in circuit protection.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Oversee the management of specific product categories, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Collaborate with various internal teams including development, marketing, and sales to drive product success and profitability.
  • Develop comprehensive product strategies and maintain responsibility for the entire product lifecycle.
  • Keep abreast of market trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes that impact the product line.
  • Explore and identify new market opportunities to enhance the product range.
  • Coordinate the creation and distribution of marketing materials and product communications.
  • Lead the planning and execution of new product introductions and marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze market data to inform product pricing strategies and competitive positioning.
  • Act as a primary product advocate, supporting sales initiatives and providing detailed product, market, and competitive analyses.
  • Deliver training and support to internal stakeholders to enhance product knowledge and sales potential.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A solid background of at least 5 years in product management within the electrical or related industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and a methodical approach to problem resolution.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working collaboratively and independently.
