Job Description

Duration: 06 Months Contract (Conversion to permanent is the goal)
 
Job Summary:
You will work closely with the lead AI platform engineer to develop production-ready AI capabilities, platform components, integrations, and automation solutions that create measurable business value. A key part of the role is ensuring AI systems can be evaluated, monitored, and operated successfully in production
 
What You Will Do
  • Support the Lead AI Platform Engineer in designing, building, deploying, and operating enterprise AI solutions.
  • Help build and evolve RAG, agent-based, and AI workflow solutions under the guidance of senior technical leadership.
  • Implement AI observability, tracing, and monitoring capabilities.
  • Integrate AI and automation solutions with enterprise applications, databases, APIs, document repositories, and file-based systems.
  • Design and develop automation solutions, primarily using Blue Prism, UiPath, and ABBYY OCR.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand processes and define automation requirements.
  • Identify process gaps, business rule exceptions, and AI and automation risks.
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
  • Maintain technical documentation and support materials.
  • Contribute to solution design, platform standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
 
Required Skills
  • 2+ years of experience developing and supporting software solutions in production environments.
  • Experience integrating systems through APIs, databases, and enterprise applications.
  • Working knowledge of C#, Python, Java, or similar languages.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of testing, quality assurance, and release management practices.
  • Interest in AI engineering, RAG applications, agentic workflows, LLM-based systems, or AI-enabled automation.
 
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Blue Prism, UiPath, and/or ABBYY OCR.
  • Experience with intelligent document processing or AI-enabled automation.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
  • Experience with Databricks.
  • Hands-on experience with LangGraph or similar agent orchestration frameworks.
  • Experience building AI workflows that leverage tools, APIs, MCP servers, and external systems
  • Understanding of agent architecture patterns, prompt engineering, and LLM evaluation techniques.

 Education:
  • Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
Manager Note:
  • Day-to-day: The Senior AI Platform Engineer will support the development of the company''s AI platform, working closely with the Lead AI Platform Engineer to enhance chatbot and agentic AI capabilities. The role will also help integrate AI into automation workflows, partnering with automation engineers to deliver AI-enabled business solutions. Strong software engineering fundamentals are required, while AI and automation platform expertise can be developed on the job.
  • 3 Must-have skills: Experience in a production environment. Understanding quality assurance. Proper error and exception handling. Needs to understand when AI is best used.
  • Nice-to-have skills:
    Any production experience with AI (RAG, chatbot, agentic workflows), Databricks, someone who can integrate and interact with the team.
