Mainframe COBOL Developer – Integrated Eligibility

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe COBOL Developer with strong IMS and JCL expertise and experience supporting Integrated Eligibility / Eligibility Determination systems.

• Develop and maintain COBOL applications on IBM Mainframe environments.
• Design, develop, test, and implement IMS/COBOL programs for online and batch processing.
• Work with IMS DB/DC, IMS DL/I, JCL, and z/OS environments.
• Perform technical design, application development, unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Support eligibility determination and related state/public-sector applications.
• Prepare technical design documentation and application code.
• Manage multiple assignments independently while meeting project deadlines.
• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to resolve application issues.

• COBOL development

• Experience with Telon, ISPF/PDF, and JCL/IMS tools.
• Experience with Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, or other public-sector eligibility systems is a plus.
