THE OPPORTUNITY
The team is seeking a Civil Engineer to support the site and infrastructure systems that make mission-critical facilities possible. This role carries projects from early site evaluation and entitlement through detailed design and construction, with particular attention to grading, drainage, utilities, access, and resilient site development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop civil site designs for data center campuses, including grading, drainage, utilities, roads, and site access
- Prepare calculations, reports, specifications, permit packages, and construction documents
- Coordinate utility capacity and connection requirements with providers, owners, and project partners
- Support site due diligence, feasibility studies, entitlement, and permitting activities
- Collaborate with architectural, structural, MEP, geotechnical, survey, and construction teams
- Review submittals, respond to RFIs, and provide construction-phase technical support
- Manage assigned deliverables against quality, schedule, and budget expectations
- Apply applicable federal, state, and local codes and stormwater requirements
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline
- 5+ years of civil/site development experience; mission-critical or large-scale industrial work preferred
- Working knowledge of grading, stormwater, utility, roadway, and erosion-control design
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD; experience with hydrology and hydraulic modeling tools preferred
- EIT required; Professional Engineer license preferred or the ability to obtain one
- Strong coordination, technical writing, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed
