Senior Kubernetes Storage Consultant

Duration: 6 Weeks | Part-Time: 24 Hrs/Week | Remote

We are seeking a Senior Kubernetes Storage Consultant with strong experience in Rancher Kubernetes, CSI, and PowerMax/VMAX environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Kubernetes CSI-based storage provisioning and capacity controls.

• Define storage quotas, governance, and provisioning standards.

• Manage orphaned volumes and storage resources.

• Work with Storage Groups, Masking Views, Port Groups, and Host Groups.

• Validate end-to-end Kubernetes-to-PowerMax provisioning workflows.

• Define node lifecycle and storage cleanup procedures.

• Establish Platform and Storage team ownership/support processes.

Required Skills:
Kubernetes, Rancher/RKE/RKE2, CSI, PowerMax/VMAX, PV/PVC, StorageClass, storage provisioning, SAN/multipathing, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.

Preferred: Container Storage Modules (CSM), Linux, scripting, and enterprise storage governance.
