Mechanical Design Engineer

#Full Time Requirement

Job Title: Design Engineer L2
Location: Raymond, Ohio (Onsite)
Duration: Full-time

Job Description:

• Work with HDMA PICs (Person In Charge) to develop feasible layouts and resolve issues.
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA V5 & V6.
• Layout and drawing issue resolution and DPM management
• BOM Price and Weight targets management.
• Other miscellaneous tasks as needed.

ADC Division Inputs:

• Reference CAD data of previous program and similar programs.
• Class A surface
• Guidance sections/Start parts
• Standards, Guidelines, and problem history documents
• Preliminary BOM
• Checklists

Parameters:

• Timeframe: Sept 2026 - March 2027 (extendable)
• Workload: ~2 FTE (~42.5hrs/week/person)
• Hybrid Work: ~80% Onsite
• Travel Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Requires a BS or MS in engineering and all the skills and abilities of Engineer L2.
• Must be proficient in technical writing and possess computer skills for scientific and technical applications.
• Must be able to proficiently handle multiple projects and develop analytical procedures.
• Must be able to work with suppliers to assure parts/services are requested appropriately, evaluate technical proposals, and write technical reports.
• Make technical decisions with moderate supervision.
• Able to work with a team or on an individual basis to reach project goals.

Qualification:
