Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end IBM GDPS implementation and deployment engagements.
  • Design, configure, and support Metro Mirror, Global Mirror, and HyperSwap solutions.
  • Configure and manage IBM DS8K storage, replication, and DSCLI scripting.
  • Implement required PARMLIB, PROCLIB, RACF, and CLIST updates.
  • Configure and support NetView and System Automation for z/OS (zSA) environments.
  • Develop and maintain GDPS automation policies, PDBs, and REXX scripts.
  • Provide technical leadership, client training, and implementation guidance throughout the engagement.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of IBM Mainframe infrastructure experience.
  • Hands-on experience implementing and supporting IBM GDPS solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of DS8K, Metro Mirror, Global Mirror, HyperSwap, and Parallel Sysplex.
  • Experience with NetView, System Automation (zSA), DSCLI, and REXX.
  • Strong understanding of z/OS administration, including PARMLIB, PROCLIB, RACF, and CLIST.
  • Proven experience leading client-facing GDPS implementations and training technical teams.
