AWS Cloud Integration Engineer _ New York(hybrid)

We are seeking a skilled AWS Cloud Integration Engineer to design, configure, and implement cloud-native integration solutions on AWS. The resource will be responsible for setting up and managing AWS services required for pilot and production workloads, including API Gateway, AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions, AWS CloudFormation, and various AWS integration patterns. The role involves building scalable, secure, and reliable serverless architectures while ensuring seamless integration between enterprise applications and cloud services.

Key Responsibilities

Configure and deploy AWS services required for pilot and production implementations.

Design and implement REST and event-driven integration architectures using AWS services.

Build and manage APIs using Amazon API Gateway.

Develop serverless applications and business logic using AWS Lambda.

Design, implement, and maintain workflows using AWS Step Functions.

Create and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation.

Implement AWS integration patterns for synchronous and asynchronous communication.

Integrate AWS services with internal and external applications, databases, and third-party systems.

Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting using Amazon CloudWatch and related AWS services.

Ensure security best practices including IAM roles, policies, encryption, and API security.

Support environment setup, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and deployment automation.

Collaborate with solution architects, developers, business stakeholders, and DevOps teams.

Produce technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational runbooks.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.

Expertise in:

Amazon API Gateway

AWS Lambda

AWS Step Functions

AWS CloudFormation

AWS IAM

Amazon CloudWatch

Amazon SQS / SNS

EventBridge

Experience with serverless architecture and microservices.

Strong understanding of AWS integration patterns and event-driven architectures.

Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and API security standards.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

Preferred Skills

Experience with AWS CDK or Terraform.

Knowledge of container technologies (ECS, EKS, Docker).

Understanding of enterprise integration frameworks.

AWS certification (Associate or Professional level).
