Job Description

We are seeking a Physical Security Systems Coordinator with hands-on experience supporting physical security and IT environments. The ideal candidate will have experience with access control systems, video surveillance, inventory management, and security device lifecycle management. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, documentation expertise, and the ability to coordinate with internal teams and vendors to support security operations and facilities.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Physical Security, Access Control, or related security systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting security devices, including Genetec Security Center and associated software.
  • Hands-on experience installing and servicing IP cameras, video surveillance systems, and card readers.
  • Experience managing inventory, equipment tracking, and documentation for security devices and materials.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience using ServiceNow for incident, request, and asset management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and root cause problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience developing or improving operational policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory, equipment, devices, materials, and parts related to physical security systems.
  • Coordinate with distribution teams regarding pending orders and inventory activities.
  • Perform periodic inventory audits and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Monitor safety stock levels and coordinate replenishment activities.
  • Generate and maintain scheduled inventory, material movement, and asset lifecycle reports.
  • Process incoming materials, invoices, RMAs, surplus equipment, and returned inventory.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and monitor equipment lifecycle replacements.
  • Manage badge supply inventory and restocking activities.
  • Track vendor quotes, invoices, and procurement-related documentation.
  • Ensure proper disposal of retired equipment following organizational security procedures.
  • Support Security Operations with basic system configurations and troubleshooting.
  • Assist vendors and internal teams with installation and operational issues.
  • Perform routine testing of security devices and document findings.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for new installations, building expansions, and security device deployments.
  • Coordinate device removals, replacements, recalls, and relocation activities.
  • Submit, manage, and track incidents and service requests through established IT processes.
