This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in developing high-profile conferences and large-scale industry events that bring together senior decision-makers from government, military organisations and the private sector.
Working closely with the Head of Content, you'll be responsible for researching emerging trends, developing commercially successful conference programmes and securing influential speakers from across the defence landscape.
If you're an experienced conference producer who enjoys researching complex topics, building senior-level relationships and creating engaging event content, this is an excellent opportunity to work on internationally recognised events with significant growth potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Research market trends, industry developments and emerging topics to identify commercially valuable conference themes.
- Design engaging conference agendas across multiple content streams.
- Source, recruit and manage relationships with senior speakers, industry experts and key stakeholders.
- Build long-term partnerships with organisations across government, defence, industry and associated sectors.
- Manage conference production timelines from concept through to event delivery.
- Work collaboratively with sales, marketing, sponsorship and operations teams to maximise commercial success.
- Produce compelling marketing copy and promotional content to support delegate acquisition.
- Continuously introduce new ideas and innovative content formats to enhance attendee engagement.
- Support the development of year-round content initiatives and industry communities.
About You
We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Proven experience producing commercial B2B conferences or exhibitions.
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to identify emerging market trends.
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
- Experience recruiting senior-level speakers and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Outstanding organisational and project management abilities.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the confidence to work independently.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with multiple internal teams.
- Experience within the defence sector would be advantageous but is by no means essential.
What's on Offer
- Opportunity to work on internationally recognised B2B events.
- Hybrid working model.
- Career development within a growing global events business.
- Collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Competitive salary and benefits package.
- The chance to build relationships with senior industry leaders and contribute to market-leading event programmes.
If you're passionate about creating exceptional conference content and want to join an ambitious events organisation delivering industry-leading experiences, we'd love to hear from you.
