Hirel Engineers is an authorized distributor for Parker Hannifin (India) for hydraulics, fluid connectors, instrumentation, and pneumatic product ranges. Based in Noida near Delhi, the company serves both large and small manufacturing enterprises across diverse industries.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Manager - Hydraulics based in Noida. The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities for hydraulics and related product lines, including prospecting potential clients, qualifying leads, and managing the sales pipeline. The Business Development Manager will conduct market research, prepare proposals and quotations, deliver technical and commercial presentations, and negotiate contracts in alignment with company policies. Responsibilities include building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, coordinating with internal operations teams to ensure timely delivery and after-sales support, and achieving revenue and growth targets. The role also requires regular reporting on sales activities, forecasting demand, participating in promotional events, and contributing to strategic plans for expanding Hirel Engineers' presence in target markets.

Qualifications

  • Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, opportunity qualification, negotiation, and closing.
  • Technical understanding of hydraulics, mobile hydraulics and related systems, preferably with exposure to Parker Hannifin or similar industrial product ranges.
  • Ability to conduct market and customer research, analyze trends, and translate insights into actionable business plans.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills for engaging with engineering teams, purchasing departments, and senior decision makers.
  • Proven capability in building long-term customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.
  • Comfort with using CRM tools, MS Office, and basic data reporting for tracking opportunities and performance.
  • Bachelor's degree / Diploma in engineering, business, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent business qualification is an advantage.
  • Relevant experience in industrial products, hydraulics, or mechanical engineering sales, preferably in a B2B manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work on-site in Noida, travel to client locations as needed, and manage time and priorities independently.
