GIS Screening Associate (Onsite)
Primary Location: St. Louis, Missouri

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a GIS Screening Associate for our premier client in St. Louis, Missouri.

Education and Experience
  • Associates Degree required. Utility mapping, underground utility locating, print reading, surveying, or real estate experience preferred. May consider three years directly relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Must-have-skills: Need to have either GIS mapping experience, locating (underground locator/utility mapping), or survey work. Needs an associate degree in order to convert. GIS certificate.
  • Nice-to-have skills: PC applications and computer knowledge. Digital records.

WHAT YOULL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
  • Will review incoming locate requests in a software app. Screening tickets.
  • Use online Ticket Management System, information in the MO811 locate request, client map system, and other tools to review and either status or assign 811 ticket requests within prescribed timelines.
  • Use assigned tools to effectively communicate with excavators, locate contractors, and company personnel regarding client Missouri UG electric facilities.
  • Perform locate ticket status audits utilizing post-locate photos and other work tools to enhance oversight of locate contractor personnel performance and increase risk mitigation for high-risk excavators.
  • Identify opportunities to improve locate ticket management behaviors and use of MO811 locate request tools for internal and external excavators.
  • Perform field audits as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
