They are seeking a driven leader to oversee their fresh food counters, specifically the butcher and deli sections, and to foster a positive and productive team environment. The Role • Lead and manage the fresh food service department, including meat, deli, cheese, baked goods, and gourmet foods. • Implement national sales strategies and drive customer engagement for specialized product lines. • Oversee inventory, cost, and revenue management, ensuring efficient product flow and assortment. • Develop and execute initiatives to inspire customer purchases and enhance the shopping experience. • Guide, train, and manage the performance of the department team, coordinating staffing levels. • Ensure impeccable product presentation, pricing accuracy, and adherence to the highest hygiene standards. What You'll Need • Completion of a recognized apprenticeship as a butcher or meat cutter, or equivalent experience, preferably within food retail.
