Job Description

Cutover Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Cutover Manager to lead and coordinate the successful transition of a major transformation program into production. This is a pivotal role responsible for planning, governing, and executing all cutover activities while ensuring minimal business disruption and seamless operational readiness.

The successful candidate will work closely with program teams, business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and executive leadership to manage the end-to-end cutover lifecycle across complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and manage comprehensive cutover strategies, plans, and schedules.
  • Coordinate all business and technical activities required for successful go-live and deployment events.
  • Facilitate cutover planning workshops and readiness assessments with key stakeholders.
  • Manage cutover risks, issues, dependencies, and contingencies, ensuring appropriate escalation and resolution.
  • Lead go-live command centre activities and oversee execution against agreed milestones.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including project managers, business leads, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
  • Track and report cutover readiness, progress, and outcomes to senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure operational readiness, business continuity, and support transition activities are completed successfully.
  • Develop rollback and contingency plans to mitigate delivery risks.
  • Drive continuous improvement and lessons-learned activities following deployment.
Key Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Cutover Manager within large-scale transformation, ERP, digital, infrastructure, or technology programs.
  • Strong understanding of program delivery frameworks and transition management methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex go-live and deployment activities across multiple workstreams.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
