Pay Transparency Statement
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $116,200.00/Yr. - USD $194,000.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a data architecture to ensure the integrity, availability, and reliability of technical baselines and artifacts.
- Develops and maintains data management plans and processes (e.g., data acquisition, validation, and storage; documenting data lineage and enforcing data protection protocols.
- Collaborates with systems engineering, cybersecurity, and configuration management staff to ensure systems integration.
- Supports establishing naming conventions, metadata structures, and access control policies.
- Supports audit readiness and continuous improvement of data management practices.
- Works in close Coordination EDLM/UDLM (Emergency/Urgent Depot Level Maintenance) manager

Qualifications
Education: Bachelors in IT, Cyber, CS, IS, Data Science, or SW Engineering OR equivalent DoD/Military training
Clearance: Top Secret/ SCI
Certifications: Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP certification.
Experience: 7-10 Years
- Experienced in database administration, tuning, and security of large-scale, mission-critical databases.
- Has expertise in backup and recovery strategies, log analysis, user account management, and incident response.
- Proficient in database management systems, scripting, and automation tools.
- Has strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills as well as the ability to effectively collaborate with other technical staff in a high-security, high-availability setting.
