Job Description
Experienced Cleaner
Our client is looking for an experienced and reliable
Cleaner
to join their team, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across a busy property.
Pay:
£14.04 per hour Based : St Andrews, KY16 9BH Start Date & Duration:
Start ASAP - 8-week assignment, with the possibility of an extension
Hours:
8:00am – 4:00pm (some flexibility can be accommodated) - 5 days out of 7 - Weekend working will be required initially
Key Responsibilities: Clean and maintain communal areas, including kitchens, lounges, corridors, stairwells, and other shared spaces. Service and prepare bedrooms and bathrooms to a high standard. Carry out routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising. Report maintenance issues or health and safety concerns promptly. Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored correctly. Deliver excellent standards of cleanliness and customer service at all times. Skills & Experience: Previous housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience is essential. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable, punctual, and well organised. Good communication skills. A positive, proactive attitude with a strong work ethic. Experience working in hotels, hospitality, or residential settings would be an advantage.
