Akkodis is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician II for a Contract with a client in Hanover Park, IL. The ideal candidate with experience maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating manufacturing equipment to support efficient production operations and minimize downtime.

Equipment Maintenance Technician II Job Responsibilities include:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment to ensure reliable production operations and minimize downtime.
- Perform preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, and calibration activities using specialized test and diagnostic equipment.
- Disassemble, rebuild, adjust, and reassemble production equipment based on blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and repair manuals.
- Support the installation, relocation, and commissioning of manufacturing equipment while adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Train and coordinate with machine operators on equipment maintenance procedures, troubleshooting techniques, and operational best practices.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, document repair activities, and utilize maintenance tracking systems to support equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Servo Controls, or an equivalent technical discipline.
- 2-5 years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with equipment diagnostics, preventive maintenance, calibration, and repair of electro-mechanical production systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings, with proficiency using test equipment, hand tools, and maintenance tracking systems.
