Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with 12+ years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, and Tricentis Tosca, along with strong experience in API testing, automation framework development, CI/CD integration, and Agile methodologies. The candidate will play a key role in designing scalable automation solutions, mentoring QA engineers, and ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Software QA and Test Automation
• Strong expertise in Playwright using JavaScript/TypeScript
• Extensive hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver using Java
• Strong experience with Tricentis Tosca automation
• Experience with TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber (BDD)
• Strong knowledge of API Automation using REST Assured, Postman, or Karate
• Experience designing and maintaining hybrid automation frameworks
• Strong SQL skills for backend/database validation
• Experience with Git, GitHub, Bitbucket
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD tools
• Experience with Maven or Gradle build tools
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, and Tosca.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for web, API, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
• Create reusable automation components and libraries to improve test efficiency.
• Build and maintain API automation suites using REST Assured, Postman, or Karate.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing using Playwright and Selenium.
• Validate backend systems using SQL queries and database testing techniques.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and QA teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, log issues in JIRA or Azure DevOps, and work with development teams for resolution.
• Continuously improve automation frameworks for maintainability, scalability, and execution speed.
• Mentor junior QA engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote automation best practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
