Job Description

As an HR Advisor you'll play a key role in the HR team for day to day HR operations as well as HR projects and supporting the business growth.

Description

  • Support the coordination and delivery of the onboarding process
  • Assist the Talent team with recruitment administration and contract processing
  • Supporting with the TUPE process when new businesses join the group
  • Contribute to HR initiatives, policies, and programmes that support engagement, performance, and retention
  • Maintain accurate and confidential HR records in line with GDPR and data protection requirements
  • Lead and manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, and attendance matters
  • Provide expert advice and coaching to managers on employee relations issues and processes
  • Support performance and absence management, including long-term sickness and occupational health referrals
  • Advise on restructuring and redundancy processes, ensuring fair consultation and selection practices
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyse feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Deliver training on employee relations and people management to support manager capability
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues on projects, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide general HR administrative support as required

Profile

A successful HR Advisor should have:

  • A strong understanding of HR policies, procedures and employment law.
  • Have worked in a fast paced environment in a hands on capacity,
  • Experience in managing employee relations and advising on HR matters.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have experience in TUPE, redundancy, restructure.
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
  • Proficiency in using HR systems and tools.

Job Offer

  • Salary ranging from 40-45k, dependent on the level of experience.
  • A car allowance of 4,500 or the option of a company car.
  • Permanent contract with opportunities to develop your career.
  • 4 days site based/ 1 day WFH
