Job Title: AI & Platform Software Engineer (GenAI | Azure | DevOps | Platform Engineering)

Location: Remote (Occasional travel to Buffalo, NY Expenses Paid)

Duration: Long-Term Contract

Required Skills

• 14+ years (Bachelor's) or 12+ years (Associate's) of software engineering/application development experience
• Strong experience in software architecture, API design, secure coding, CI/CD, testing, and production support
• Hands-on experience with GenAI technologies, including:
  • LLMs
  • Prompt Engineering
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
  • AI coding assistants
  • Agent-based automation
• Strong Azure experience with:
  • Azure API Management (APIM)
  • Azure AI Foundry
  • Azure Entra ID
  • Azure Key Vault
  • Azure Monitor
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep preferred)
• Experience building and supporting production systems in controlled enterprise environments
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills

Preferred Skills

• Financial services or other regulated industry experience
• Experience with:
  • GitLab Duo
  • Copilot Studio
  • Dynatrace
  • Delphix
  • AWS Bedrock
  • Google Vertex AI
• Cloud, AI, DevOps, or SRE certifications

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise GenAI platform capabilities
• Build secure APIs and scalable AI services on Azure
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity
• Collaborate with architecture, security, governance, and application teams
• Produce documentation and SDLC compliance artifacts
• Participate in production support, incident management, and root cause analysis
• Drive knowledge transfer and engineering best practices across teams
