The Role • Support the development, delivery, and maintenance of the Project Product Safety Management System and Safety Case. • Ensure products are safe to own, operate, and maintain, meeting all legal and regulatory requirements. • Undertake product safety hazard and risk identification, management, and assessment, considering environmental and operational challenges. • Support the development of Project Safety Management Plans and contribute to the Project Product Safety Case, including Safety Case Reports. • Administer and manage the Project Hazard Log, ensuring hazards are identified, assessed, and appropriately managed. • Apply STEM knowledge to interpret technical data and support safety activities across design, manufacturing, assembly, commissioning, and testing phases. What You'll Need • A Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree or equivalent experience. • Experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining Safety Management Systems. • Proven ability in hazard and risk identification, management, and assessment. • Experience in developing and maintaining Project Safety Cases and supporting documentation. • Familiarity with managing project hazard logs and associated processes. • Understanding of engineering and programme requirements for safety compliance.
