DevOps Tester Senior

Pay Range: $60 - $65/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:

• Assess end-to-end data modeling lifecycle processes, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
• Create and execute manual test plans and test cases for key workflows, ensuring standards validation and deployment readiness.
• Define a testing strategy and automation roadmap, identifying candidates for automation and recommending integration points.
• Document findings, produce actionable assessments, and deliver a phased roadmap with measurable success criteria.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Experience with enterprise data modeling tools (e.g., ER/Studio, ERwin, SAP PowerDesigner).
• Familiarity with metadata/catalog/governance platforms (e.g., Collibra, Alation).
• Experience with CI/CD and automation tooling (e.g., GitHub/GitLab, Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with common enterprise data platforms (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, data modeling, QA, or related roles with a strong testing focus.
• Demonstrated experience testing data/metadata/modeling workflows beyond application UI testing.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling concepts, including entities/relationships, keys, and normalization.
• Proven ability to develop test plans, write test cases, and execute structured manual testing with clear documentation.
• Strong analytical and communication skills to produce actionable assessments and roadmaps.
