Description
Join our team as a Quality Engineer in a dynamic and fast-paced environment in La Jolla, CA. 
This contract position involves participating in all phases of system development, from requirements gathering to testing and support. 
The role requires familiarity with bioinformatics systems and the ability to ensure high-quality results using advanced testing strategies.

Key Responsibilities
Participate in requirements, design, and review meetings.
Develop test strategies, plans, and cases for successful project implementation.
Test bioinformatics pipelines using cloud-based technologies and automate test scenarios.
Create and execute test scripts for user stories and components.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely testing and release schedules.

Qualifications
Bachelor''s Degree in a relevant field such as Bioinformatics or Computer Science.
1-2 years of experience with software testing and familiarity with data processing pipelines.
Experience with web-based application testing and Agile methodologies.
Proficiency in using testing tools like Selenium or similar.
Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
