Job description

Machine and Plant Operator | Dingelstädt, Germany | On-site

This employer is looking for motivated individuals to operate and maintain advanced furnaces in the field of heat treatment and metal finishing. They are seeking skilled machine operators, production staff, or furnace operators to contribute their expertise to a well-established partner in a future-proof role. The Role

  • Operate and load advanced heat treatment furnaces for material refinement.
  • Monitor and precisely control process parameters, including temperature curves, time intervals, and furnace atmosphere.
  • Conduct systematic quality checks on heat-treated batches according to inspection plans.
  • Safely transport heavy components internally using crane systems.
  • Document furnace operations and record any process deviations.
  • Participate in error analysis and troubleshoot minor production issues.

What You'll Need

  • Practical experience in an industrial production environment, ideally in metal or heavy industry.
  • Proficiency with complex machine controls and strong technical understanding.
  • A valid crane operator license is advantageous (training can be provided).
  • Willingness to work a rotating 4-shift system.
  • A conscientious, reliable, and responsible work approach.
