The Role • Operate specialized heavy equipment like hostlers, cranes, or top loaders to move shipping containers. • Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks with precision and safety. • Position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard using hostlers. • Perform pre and post-shift equipment inspections to guarantee safe operation. • Collaborate with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate daily logistics tasks. • Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with all established protocols. What You'll Need • A valid driver’s license is mandatory. • Previous experience operating heavy equipment in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to upholding safety standards. • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in various weather conditions. • Willingness to work flexible hours, including all shifts, weekends, and holidays. • Basic communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
