Resident Network Engineer

Summary: Seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to provide on‑site technical support, design validation, and proactive optimization of enterprise networks. This role involves workshops, troubleshooting, upgrades, and training to ensure high availability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct workshops to gather requirements and support new network designs

• Test and validate new features, patches, and upgrades in lab and production

• Troubleshoot complex issues, manage JTAC cases, RMAs, and reporting

• Train customer teams on Juniper/Mist products and best practices

• Support wireless optimization (RF planning, roaming, client health)

• Use analytics and automation (Ansible, Python, PyEZ, YAML/JSON) to improve performance

• Assist with upgrades, migrations, and operational procedures

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in large‑scale IP networks (enterprise/data center)

• Strong JUNOS CLI, EVPN/VXLAN, BGP, OSPF experience

• Hands‑on with Juniper QFX/EX/PTX switches and Mist Wireless assurance

• Familiarity with Mist API/Web UI, Marvis AI, Apstra

• Automation skills (Ansible, Python, PyEZ)

• Excellent communication and customer‑facing skills

• Juniper certifications (JNCIS/JNCIP MistAI, Wireless) preferred
