Role Description This is a full-time Finance Specialist role based in Mumbai, structured as a hybrid position with a combination of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The Finance Specialist will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, including recording and reconciling transactions, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The role includes monitoring accounts payable and receivable, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring timely, accurate reporting to internal stakeholders. The Finance Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial performance, support pricing and cost analysis for network and ICT services, and help maintain compliance with internal controls and relevant accounting standards. This position also involves preparing financial documentation for audits, responding to finance-related inquiries, and contributing to process improvements that enhance financial efficiency and accuracy.


Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Finance and Accounting, with demonstrated experience in managing core financial processes.
  • Ability to prepare, analyze, and interpret Financial Statements and related reports with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent Analytical Skills for budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and performance reporting.
  • Effective Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and leadership in a clear and professional manner.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA, MBA in Finance) are an advantage.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of standard accounting principles and regulatory requirements relevant to corporate finance.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Mumbai, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced global business.
